Black Diamond Ship - Vila Rezevici, Montenegro 2017
The project was designed and constructed in a warehouse in Cyprus. Once completed the entire playship was dismantled and each piece carefully labeled and packed into 2 fourty foot containers to be shipped to the Vila in Montenegro.
Vakis Associates and a team of 15 Cypriot craftsmen and carpenters assembled the project to fit within the existing garden landscape of the Vila. Below deck there are two cabins, a playroom/classroom at the stern of the plauship for the children and a resting area at the bow. All interior soft and hard furnishings are in collaboration with Thesis Interior Design Showrooms, chosen to suit the yacht like interior of the project.
