Civil Engineer`s House, Pareklisha, Limassol, 2007

This linear house is located in the fertile agricultural plain of Pareklisha on a plot of land of 4000 sq.m. South facing, this house enjoys mountain views all round. As the client did not require a second floor it was an ideal opportunity to create a space 4m in height, a rare luxury nowadays. The owner is a civil engineer with whom we have been working together for the last 30 years. Long spans, cantilevers and untreated fair faced concrete compose his engineering vocabulary and inevitably his home.
