President`s house, Governor`s Beach, 1999

After President Vassiliou`s term in office, he and his family needed a space to retreat to. For their in-town commitments, they kept their town family house in full working order. Thirty minutes from Nicosia, on the southern coast they wanted a new house that would be a holiday home and entertaining space to accommodate pleasure and happiness. During their presidency the couple collected a wealth of memorabilia and photos that now dominate the interior. Head of state visits, the family children`s weddings and parties are all performed here in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.
