Retail and Office Building, Academias Street, Limassol, 2007

Four shop units and two office units were designed for a rental development project on a busy up and coming high street in Limassol. Without knowing the future tenants requirements the units were designed to be as universal and flexible as possible. Long structural spans were made possible with the extensive use of steel structural beams in combination with the more standard reinforced concrete structure. A perforated concrete screen shades the ramped main entrance to the office units above. All parking and storage requirements are planned in a large basement below the building accessible by a ramp, stairs and lifts.
