Amathusia Residences

LIMASSOL - CYPRUS

PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL

This case study presents four linear houses situated near the archaeological site of Amathus, each strategically positioned to offer uninterrupted sea views. The development is part of a larger project that will extend up the hillside, ultimately creating a cohesive neighbourhood. The four show houses share a consistent architectural language, yet each one offers a unique variation in plan, section, and layout, reflecting a diverse range of possibilities for future clients.

The construction of the houses is characterized by the use of exposed concrete, local stone, glass, and wood—materials that not only respond to the surrounding landscape but also create a modern and timeless aesthetic. The integration of these materials creates a harmonious balance between the buildings and their natural environment, while also ensuring durability and functionality for long-term use.

In the future, the development is planned to expand up the hillside, offering clients the opportunity to personalize their homes by drawing inspiration from these show houses. They will have the flexibility to choose from a variety of design elements or even combine aspects from different homes to create a tailored solution that suits their needs and preferences.

This approach ensures that the development maintains a cohesive identity while also allowing for individual expression, enabling future homeowners to create a space that is uniquely their own while still respecting the architectural principles and natural beauty of the surrounding area.
