Pine Forest House
NICOSIA - CYPRUS
PRIVATE RESIDENTIAL
The site for this house was carefully selected for its lush forest setting, offering a tranquil environment that sits equidistant between Limassol and Nicosia, conveniently located near the parents of the couple. Due to the low plot co-efficiency ratio imposed by the planning zone, the house was designed to be predominantly single-storey, with the exception of the study.
The design integrates semi-open pergolas that provide shading to the structure, enhancing comfort and energy efficiency. The office structure on the roof serves as a distinct architectural feature, acting as a bridge that visually and functionally connects the house to the street.
This elevated element offers both a sense of openness and a direct connection to the surrounding landscape, completing the design’s seamless integration with its natural surroundings.
