As part of a multi-phase development for a longstanding client at Vila Reževići in Montenegro, this rooftop addition was conceived as a lightweight, tent-like structure designed to provide a year-round enclosed space while visually softening the overall massing of the villa.
Positioned to take full advantage of its elevated location, the structure offers uninterrupted panoramic views of the surrounding Reževići landscape. The design emphasizes minimal impact and reversibility, employing a fabric and frame system that is both light in appearance and practical in use.
To ensure precision in detailing and assembly, the entire structure was first surveyed and mock-built in a controlled warehouse environment in Cyprus. This off-site process allowed the design and construction team to fine-tune connection details, fabric finishes, and internal fittings, resulting in a seamless final installation. Once completed, the structure was carefully dismantled, transported, and reassembled on site within three weeks by a coordinated team including local subcontractors.
Furnishings and finishes, curated in collaboration with Thesis furniture showrooms, complement the relaxed ''safari like'' character of the space, which is most commonly used during sunset and evening hours for informal family gatherings and stargazing.
